GOOD NEWS...

...God has given us Good News in the Scriptures! In a corrupt and depraved world, God holds out relief, hope and peace. When God's Son Jesus came into the world, He lived love, peace and hope amidst all the sadness of life. Jesus lived the life God would have all His creation live. Then Jesus died the death that all of mankind should die under God's judgment. Jesus did this, not for Himself, but for us--to free us from all the guilt of our sin that has brought so much suffering into the world and our lives.

The Good News is that in Jesus, we can have a New Beginning with God and live a New Life in this world and for eternity. While the corruption of sin has ruined the world, it does not have to ruin our lives. We can live the love, peace and hope that Jesus lived, as we forsake what is of this world and embrace in faith what God has revealed to us in the living Word--Jesus, and in His written Word--the Scriptures.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church believes and confesses the new Hope and new Life God offers to everyone through Jesus!
